Cajon Drum
I built this cajon out of 1/2 inch Baltic Birch Plywood to give it the perfect balance of strength and weight. You will want to take it with you. The head is 1/8 inch Maple plywood and I have installed an adjustable snare behind it. Your choice, no snare to full snare. The color is one-of-a-kind hand rubbed yellow and blue dyes, then I sprayed it with several coats of varnish. This cajon is 18 inches tall (including the rubber feet) x 14 inches wide x 12 inches deep. It is designed to sit on and play or when If you’re not short on chairs, sit in a chair and lean this towards you and play it that way. A fun drum.
